SPECTACULAR!!! Unparalleled luxury and service impeccably managed by Svati, our host. Staff at Villa, Billy and Maria were exceptional in their efforts and services.Included Breakfast was amazing.Internet access was great. Chef dinner on our last night was a perfect finish. All in, one of the most memorable and enjoyable vacations I have experienced.
Erossea Villa: Remarkable villa beautifully appointed. Exceptionally clean located at one of highest points of the island overlooking the caldera. We rented entire villa – 2 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms down via outside short flight of stairs. We were met by villa host and all luggage was picked up and delivered to us.
All bedrooms and bathrooms beautiful. Baths with cave like decor had amenities and bathrobes. Togas linens were luxurious – 5 star. 4 Baths ensuite and 1 was steps from Master on upper floor. We were welcomed by our Villa Host, Svati with a local aperitif and fresh local fruit. Nespresso coffee in each suite level kitchen with coffee for espresso, latte’s, cappuccinos. Bottled Water replenished each day. Served breakfast was wonderful, overabundant and every request fulfilled and enjoyed outside under the beautiful pergola. Villa staff kind and proficient.
Pool deck was magnificent, spacious with hot tub near pool so we can all converse and spend time together with the convenience of outdoor fridge and ice maker. Views were magical – breathtaking sunset and daytime caldera views. Convenience of market (wine, snacks, food, sundries) at top of about 20 stairs along with multiple restaurants for dine in, drinks or take out within steps of top of stairs or for car transfer pickups. Beautiful walk into Fira, shopping or hike to chapels, Skaros rock and the like. Be prepared for many steps up and down – done at a leisurely pace while you take in the views along the way or stop for a drink at the many restaurants or bars perched on the caldera cliff. Wonderful day in Oia, and amazing historical tour of ruins. Boat tour was marvelous. Wine-tasting was so fun and so was beer tasting trip, too.
Host ensured ALL details were attended to, excellent suggestions for daily activities, restaurants, beaches with all transportation arrangements made – she was always 1 WhatsApp chat away 24/7 and visited us each morning, sometimes twice a day to check in, make arrangements or just to touch base to see if we needed anything – not one of our 8 group of friends were not in awe of the Host’s skills, attention to detail, kindness, hummor and attentiveness. Arranged chef dinner under the stars with Chef Spyros and Kostas was perfect for our last night together.
